Portable incense holder

Here is a neat way to recycle your unused matchboxes.Â

I tried it the other day and it turned out pretty good.Â The pictureÂ IÂ used was taken in 1921,Â I found it in a National Geographic.

Supplies:

Â Â Â Â MatchboxÂ - with 12 matches

Â Â Â Â 3 Incense sticks

Â Â Â Â PaperÂ scrapsÂ

Â Â Â Â Exacto knife

Â Â Â Â Scissors

Â Â Â Â DecoupageÂ GlueÂ

Cut out paper to match the size of the box, leaving one side open to strike the matches on.

With the decoupage, glue your image onto the box using your knife to trim the edges.

While waiting for it to dry, cut the incenseÂ down toÂ the size of the matches.Â

Scrape off one of the ends of each little incense stick.Â Â This provides better stability when they are in use.

When the box is dry use your knife to poke a hole in the top for the incense to stick in.

FillÂ the box with your mini incense and matches and you are ready to go.
