Woylies at play at Yelvertonn Brook near Margaret River

Hi now we have proof that the Woylies or also known as Brushtailed Bettongs are visiting the chalets.

These delightful small native fauna of the kangaroo family only stand about 10″ high. They are pouched just like there bigger cousins and are very cute and can be quite cheeky!

They love their nuts and apparently chicken bones espically for the marrow, we know how sharp there teeth are……..a few scars have been had!

If you see them eating their nuts they can easily crack nut shells open with a little effort.

On walking the property tracks are now seen scattered over the 100acs, this makes all the hard work seem worth the effort.

If you want to help support this come and stay with us at Yelverton Brook or shop in our online shop for a great unique Aussie gift from mousepads to t-shirts to bibs it’s your choice - click here - Yelverton Online Shop
